Renewal Visits Eastern Pennsylvania PDF
The Renewal coordinators (Gretchen and Tyler) recently took to the road, visiting students at two great institutions - Eastern University and Messiah College.

First up was Eastern University. There, we met with the Earth Keepers group for a Do-It-Yourself party. Folks left the evening with homemade magnets and envelopes, delicious granola and the know-how to fix a flat bicycle tire.

Gretchen joyfully demonstrates how to fix a flat.

At Messiah, alongside their Earth Keepers group, we threw a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bowl) Granola Party. Everyone whipped up a batch of healthy granola and good conversation.

A successful granola making recipe calls for generous amounts of both excitement and great students.

Sustainability issues seem to have students buzzing on both campuses.
Did you know? Eastern University was the first 100% wind energy powered campus in Pennsylvania.
Did you know? Messiah College is home to the nation's fourth largest solar thermal system.

Many thanks to all the students who participated, especially Marissa (Eastern) and Kristen (Messiah) for heading up their respective Earth Keepers groups. Keep up the great work.
