There was also a small group that met via the internet to hear about different issues from each continent and to pray together.  Thanks to Matt from Santa Fe, Lawrence from Bangladesh, Lisa from New Zealand, and Will and Pip from the UK for sharing prayers and thanks from their own locales!

Prayer is critical for giving our concerns to God and for for reminding us that we can't do anything without Him.  Having a centralized day to focus on prayer for these issues gives us a special opportunity to pray together but also causes us to remember that we should pray every day of the year! Let's continue to pray that:

-All of creation would experience Christ's shalom,
-We would educate ourselves to know what is happening in our local and global communities,
-We would have wisdom to make decisions that heal rather than hurt.
